H-Town Global Festival Coming to Sharpstown This Weekend
Vendors and entertainers will bring music, games, toys, cultural dance, and international food to the east side of the PlazAmericas Mall this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This will be the first H-Town Global Festival held in Sharpstown, and the first one since the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020 (although the festival began in 2011). The festival, open to all age groups, is run by the Vietnamese Community of Houston and Vicinities (VNCH). The vice president, Yen Do, says she is excited to bring joy and fun to the Sharpstown area. There is no entrance fee, and there is free parking at the PlazAmericas Mall. Some vendors may not have credit card readers, so the VNCH encourages festival-goers to bring cash.
