If you live in a house in Sharpstown, your property is probably deed restricted by the Sharpstown Civic Association, a non-profit corporation that decides which colors you can paint your house, pays for local mosquito spraying, helps put on Liberty Fest, pays for neighborhood S.E.A.L. Security patrols, publishes the SCAN, and more.

The SCA Board of Directors has voted to change their bylaws, but the final decision rests with you (if you've paid your membership dues). On August 24 and September 28, the SCA will present the proposed bylaw changes during their general membership meetings at the Bayland Community Center at 6:30 PM. Only dues-paying members who attend the meetings will be eligible to vote on whether to approve or reject the bylaw changes.

The SCA has posted a link to the bylaw changes on the Governance page of their website. Visit that page to find a link to a redlined copy of the revised bylaws.
